Accessibility

Our approach

Accessibility is part of the design and build, not a pass at the end. Pages use semantic HTML, and touch targets are sized for fingers.

Contrast

Text and interface colors meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios — 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and controls — in both the light and dark themes.

Keyboard

Every link, button and form field can be reached with the Tab key and used from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline. Inner pages open with a skip link to the main content.

Reduced motion

When your system asks for reduced motion, the home page’s cursor sparkler does not load, text appears without its entrance animation, and the case-study hover transitions are switched off.

Known limitations

The case-study diagrams are detailed technical drawings. Each one has a text summary for screen readers, but the summary does not carry every label in the drawing.

On screens narrower than about 1,376 pixels, the diagrams keep a fixed width so their labels stay legible, and scroll sideways inside their frame. The frame can be focused and scrolled with the arrow keys.
