A national nonprofit’s milestone-anniversary celebration needed a complete event environment — not a stack of separate vendors to coordinate.

Dot Matrix was the single vendor: I designed and ran the room — sound, lighting, screens and music — and played as DJ Diem alongside a second DJ, with a load-in crew I hired. The venue was a waterfront pier, where every case was hand-carried down the pier.

Two 55-inch screens on stands carried the room’s graphics.

A third 65-inch screen, mounted to the DJ booth, ran custom VJ content composed to match the event’s theme — a self-initiated addition, not a line item. Because sound, light, video and music answered to one vendor, every layer moved as one.
